Countdown Pin Celebration at Walt Disney World 2001
March 22, 2001 thru August 12, 2001


Pluto's Pin Pursuit March 22, 2001 at Downtown Disney Florida, the first Pin Celebration Event was scheduled to be an all day pin event. All the pins, core included were sold out that day.
Pin Celebration Events are open to all guests. Maps were given out at World Of Disney, each guest then followed the map to receive a stamp for either answering a trivia question correctly or trading a pin, in pursuit of the DTD 26th Anniversary Pin. The DTD Anniversary Pin was given out free upon successful completion of the Pin Pursuit.



There were eight core pins that were premiered and if you purchased them all they could be framed on your map for $100.00. The open stock pins are: Gourmet Pantry, Pooh Corner, Pin Trading Station, World of Disney, Art of Disney,
Team Disney, Disney at Home, and Disney's Days of Christmas.


The Spring Break 2001 limited edition pin by Mark Seppala
was released park wide and he was signing pins on the Dock Stage.


Minnie Born To Shop, was the Event Exclusive pin. Designed by Allan Davis, he also signed on the Dock Stage.

A Limited Edition of 2,500 Dangle Countdown Pin Series [Pins Around Our World] was also released. There will be a new one released at each of the Countdown Events.
