Children's Privacy

When a child under the age of 13 registers as a member on our site (registration is free, but required in order to gain access to some of our services) or wishes to participate in one of our promotions, we require that they obtain their parents consent. This is done through the following process:

• The child completes the registration form and provides his or her parent's e-mail address;
• We send a confirmation number to the parent's e-mail address;
• The child and/or the parent must return to our registration confirmation page and supply the confirmation number in the appropriate field.

Without that confirmation number (which is supplied only to the parent's e-mail address), the child is unable to participate as a member of Mahrnee's Place and Dizneyana.com (although he or she will have access to all of the services available to non-registered users). Until that confirmation number is supplied, all information supplied by the child is "frozen" and will not be used by Mahrnee's Place and Dizneyana.com for any purpose other than contacting the parent through e-mail and providing the confirmation number and instructions for completing the child's registration process.

Completion of the registration process with the confirmation number supplied to the parent's e-mail address shall be considered as receipt of permission from the parent or guardian allowing Mahrnee's Place and Dizneyana.com to accept and use the personally identifiable information submitted by the child under the terms of this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service and our User Agreement (with the understanding that their personal information as a child and a member is highly safeguarded and will not be sold or released to a second or third party-see below for further details).

If a parent wishes to refuse to permit further collection or use of their child's information by Mahrnee's Place and Dizneyana.com that parent can send an e-mail to the same account which requested verification (childprivacy@Mahrnee's Place and Dizneyana.com) with the subject line "request deletion of child's access."
